- [SJY] sent email to David in response to this breach of copyright notice.
- Do not know who was torrenting, could have been anyone using our network, particularly with our unsecure access point.

[M12] : the 'unofficial' cameron hall ball
- [CHZ] wants $150 from UCC to hire the back room at Pot Black in Northbridge.
- The committee would prefer that this be an official UCC event if UCC will be funding it.
- To be discussed further next meeting.

[M12] : Securing ugg
- Motivated by copyright infrigement notice.
- Copyright infrigement was adequately dealt with.
- The unsecure access point has not caused any serious harm, and we don't know if it was the cause of the infrigement notice.
- ugg is not a descriptive name for the access point, does not relate to UCC.
- Motion to rename ugg to "University Computer Club", passed unanimously.

[M12] : locking of CHZ's account
- [CHZ] created an account called "thebiggestjerk" to receive mail at that address.
- [SJY] noticed this, told him it was not the correct procedure.
- [SJY] created an alias for [CHZ], and tried to delete the account.
- [SJY] contacted wheel@ for assistance deleting the account.
- [MST] then said the account had to be locked, and did so.
- Drama followed.
- Motion to unlock [CHZ]'s account, passed unanimously.

[M12] : Wheel Locking account
- Wheel needs the right to lock accounts to protect the system from malicious users.
- There should be guidelines in place for locking accounts.
- Individual committee members, door members and wheel members should have the power to request account locking until the next committee meeting.
- [DAA] to send draft of account locking guidelines to committee-only@ for discussion.
- To be discussed further next week.

[LOL] : New aircon, as mentioned on tech@
- Could anyone with comments on this, please post to tech@.
- To be discussed next meeting.

[SJY] : offensive language in the clubroom
- Not only does this drive members away, UWA takes discriminatory language quite seriously.
- Members who swear loudly and frequently so they can be heard outside the clubroom should be warned and then doored.
- Door group should be in charge of enforcing this, and should use their own discretion.
- Littering in the clubroom should be approached the same way.
- [SJY] to email door@ to set up meeting for door members next week at 5pm.
- Door members who do not respond before the meeting or do not show up at the meeting will be removed from the door group.
