President's Report
------------------
- Did a (big) coke/snack run.
- Felt good.
- Did not have the time to do a Cave Johnson intro for the Fresher Guide, so
we have a decent one instead.
- Enjoying a week off work.
Vice-President's Report
-----------------------
- We have a new monitor, thanks to [EDO] for organising.
- Steam for Linux is officially released, and [SLX] is now broke as a result.
Treasurer's Report

- We have money
- $1067.53 in Guild
- $1009.11 in Westpac
- $776.05 in Safe
- Have reimbursed
- [SAS] for a Coke Run of $74.98
- [TPG] for a Coke and Snack run of $655.06
- [M12] for the Vacuum Cleaner of $299.00
- Myself of the Pinball RAM/PSU of $140.00
- Still need to reimburse
- [M12] of the Cleanup snacks/water, unknown cost, waiting for receipt
- Myself of Pinball's Screen, $280.00, wanted to get it in and set up
- We have plenty of loose cash in the safe in all denominations for O-Day,
and so we will not be getting a float from the guild
- Lets hope for a lot of signups on O-Day.
- Got called in for jury duty. Yay!
Secretary's Report

- Digital rights event on Thursday should be fun.
- I've kind of finished working in Physics now, and I have a website to start
and finish for O-Day.
- Moar PHP. I'll preprocess your hypertext!
Fresher Rep's Report
--------------------
- Haven't done much.
- Freshers are increasing in concentration, but they won't be freshers for
much longer.
- Discussion yields that freshers change over on the first day of semester,
not on O-Day.
- Let's be nice to freshers, at least for a while.
*ahem* Let's not be dicks.
OCM Reports
--------------------

- Raspberry Pi order not done due to lack of money.
- [TPG] will provide the money for now.
- Order will go through tonight in theory.
[M12]
- Fresher Guide is printed
- UniPrint were VERY quick
- Font is big, information is only what was needed
- Complaints can be sent to spam@ucc.asn.au
- Going to print a few A4 signs to put around the guild village pointing
freshers to the respective clubrooms
- Need to get them approved by the guild
- Going to start working majorly on the prospectus as of Wednesday
- Want to have a 'writers night' style meeting where people can start
coming up with ideas to put in there (Events, etc)
- Looking at early week 2, ish. 4th or 5th of March.

Machine Technical Reports

- No news.
- [*OX] is looking at SVN issues.
Network
- Net works.
Desktops
- Seem to run well.
- It's hot, and the computers are feeling it.
New equipment
- Screen for Pinball arrived and will be installed at some point.
- Security cables seem to have arrived (not the laptop cable).
Drinks and Snacks

- We have them. Lots of them. Good stock of solo, coke, lemonade and some
Kirk's stuff, and two crates of orange & mango mineral water.
- Many miscellaneous snacks.
Mail, Guild and SOC
-------------------
- [EDO] checked the mail and received a membership form.
- [DTK] checked the mail and received postcards from Zanchey and [JAB].
- SOC meeting: Golden ticket could have included a table for quiz night, but
other clubs (esp. Unisfa) weren't keen.
- There is no monetary loss due to Guild reimbursement, and gain in
advertising and potential members.
- If we get a committment from the winner a couple of weeks out we can
still sell their tickets to members.
- [M12] moves that we allocate a quiz night table to the Golden Ticket
program, providing other clubs agree. [TPG] seconds, 3 for, 3 against,
1 abstaining. President was for, so we will go ahead.
- [M12] to talk to Laura Smith.
Action Items

- [EDO] to start preparing a financial report and budget for the year.
- Not done. Can start now that treasurer matters have been caught up on.
- [TPG] to contact Talitha about her personal documents found on the printer.
- Done, in the meeting.
- [M12] and [GOZ] to begin organising Quiz Night, particularly sponsors.
- Waiting for Gary to get back to me on the date still.
- [EDO] will check the safe and contact Henry if necessary for O-Day float.
- Done, we have enough in the safe.
- [BOB] to purchase a Bootlace Ferrule crimp tool.
- IRC indicates this happened, but we have no invoice or product.
- [EDO] to investigate laptop security cable.
- Not done.
General Business
----------------
- Progcomp - Do we want prizes and how much should they be?
So far 3 people interested in competing.
- Yes, we want prizes. A (possibly 3D) chess set or quantum physics
for dummies book would be appropriate.
- [DTK] moves that we allocate $100 for progcomp prizes. [SLX] seconds,
unanimous.
- [SZM] to organise or tell someone to buy stuff at the appropriate time.
- O-Day on Friday
- People should help, and see the wiki page.
- We should have a committee member and a couple of doors in the clubroom.
- A computer with internet and IRC would be very useful at the stall.
- WikiLeaks and You seminar on Thursday at 6pm, Austin LT
- *You* should come.
- [SAS] is running a fresher LAN in week 2. Need to book the loft for 9th of
March, and get a night pass, etc.
- Alas, this date conflicts with Aus Comic Con, but shouldn't be a problem
as it finishes around 5 or 6pm.
- We should consider advertising an end time late Saturday night, with
potential for continuing in the morning.
- This will be passed on to [SAS].
